Gambare Group Holdings Pty Ltd

BEE Structured Company
Gambare (Pty) Ltd primary objective is to pioneer the marketing merchandise industry, we are the leaders in on-line procurement and leveraging our purchasing influence to drive black economic empowerment initiatives in companies we source products from.

The merchandise industry is primarily (99%) whiteowned, due mainly to historical discrepancies. The industry continues to struggle to transform because of the high barriers to entry, and the expertise that are required to excel and service clients effectively. Interestingly, the factories and manufacturers have roughly 98% of the staff being previously disadvantaged individuals (PDI)  in their employ. Our short to medium term objective is to leverage our purchasing influence to encourage our key suppliers to take the next step to empowerment.

Gambare will ensure that our suppliers are fully informed of our short to medium term objectives, we will within 3-5 years ensure that 50% of our purchases are from  B.E.E. companies.

We are in the process of educating our suppliers that we are bound by contract with COCA COLA , PAM GOLDING , BROWN FORMAN and other blue chip companies to ensure that we reach these objectives as defined in our vendor assessment application.

We are currently in the process of evaluation by EMPOWERDEX on our empowerment credentials, which is a requirement to secure our 2006/7 COCA COLA contract.

Gambare (Pty) Ltd is committed to change and would like to play a leading role within the marketing merchandise industry in driving the empowerment initiative.
